Definition of CrazyPants!
Posted by Raj on 28 Mar 08

When I saw this, I laughed my socks off! PeeT! originally used CrazyPants as a title for our anthology - originally it was going to be called 'Trouser Madness' - but that this brings different things up...

My fave bit is the following quote:

"Crazypants is a descriptive word that means weird or insane, not insane in the sense that it means cool as in crazy cool or thats totally insane! Crazypants means insane as in a mental illness."

Brilliant! Describes us to a Tee!

PeeT! is let off the leash once more!

So, we made our debut at The Web & Minicomix Thing 2008. My report is a bit wordy, so I posted it on my personal blog. You can find it here.

Houston we have Covers!!
Posted by Raj on 12 Mar 08

I have now received the printed (full bleed) covers for the First Issue! Both myself and Peet! can't believe that we're finally reaching the last straight before next weekend's convention. I have a few panels left of Hell Hackers to do (Peet! also has a few left too - but he loves tight deadlines!) - before we print the inside pages of Issue 1.

It's amazing how much work goes into creating Small Press magazines and I am in awe of people that do this year in year out!! Hopefully all this panic and last minute changes will become a thing of the past when we deal with Issue 2.

Although, realistically speaking it'll probably be exactly the same!!

Reading Recommendation
Posted by Raj on 28 Feb 08Walking Dead

I've recently started reading 'The Walking Dead' by Robert Kirkman and illustrated by Tony Moore (originally) and Charlie Adlard (from Issue 7 onward). I never thought that I would get so drawn into a comic strip about (essentially) Zombie Survival Horror.

The Walking Dead is a black and white comic published by Image Comics - the story centres around the lives of a group of survivors in a world plagued by Zombies. It's handled as a character piece not dealing directly with the whys and wherefores of the Zombie Apocalypse - but instead detailing the lives of normal people trying to live the best they can in a world that has (quite literally) gone to hell.

A series of graphic novels that are guaranteed to make you laugh, cry and in places cack your pants. If you get the chance - have a look - They are brilliant! (Oh yes - mature readers only... sorry.)

WELCOME
to the Crazy Pants Website!!

Welcome to the brand-spanking new Crazy Pants website! Currently we've got the Gallery, Contact us and the Downloads pages up and running.

This home page will have to be the main place for us to update you on our progress and let you know what we are currently working on - that is until the main News and Blog Pages are online and ready for use!

We are proud to exclaim that the first Issue of Crazy Pants is now available for purchase. It was a long and arduous task to get the first one out and Peet! and Raj have now got some time to relax - before getting on with the next one!!

Back
at last!

After an enforced sabbatical, due to circumstances beyond our control, we are back at last! What will 2009 bring?

PeeT! will be attending The UK Web & Minicomix Thing on 28th March, and Issue #1 of Trouser Madness will be available at Bristol in May. Watch this space for more news...

On............
The Move!

Crazypants! is in a state of flux! Following discussions at Crazypants! Towers, we are now at liberty to divulge our plans for the future! The first issue of Trouser Madness will be making an appearance as soon as likely, following the release of the Issue#0 Sampler. The 1st issue of Tight Pants Man will hopefully be ready in Spring 2009, and PeeT! is currently attempting to revive his Bewlay Brothers comic, so there's plenty in the pipeline!! More news as it becomes available!

It's
Been A While...!

Hello. After our debut this year, we have had to have a long hard think about where we are going. Although we had a lot of interest, it didn't really translate into sales. We've come to realise that this may be due to the fact that we confused people by trying to shoehorn our disparate art and writing styles into a one-size-fits-all anthology. Therefore, our next evil experiment will be to produce our own stories in longer stand-alone comics, so that the reader can pick and choose what they want, rather than be confounded by a mish-mash of content. I shall therefore be doing a full-length episode of Tight Pants Man, and also be resurrecting Trouser Madness for all of my one-off/gag strips, as well as the more adult material! I am also going to be doing some more arty/hand made things that I have been considering for some time. Watch this space!

Oo-wah!
It's Bristol already!!!

My my, time certainly does fly by! The Crazypants Team (yes, both of us!) will be attending the Comic Expo in Bristol this weekend 10th & 11th May. Why not swing by our table and purchase a comic, and mayhaps even some badges, buttons, pins (depending on where you hail from.) We're really quite approachable unless startled, and we'd love to meet you!
